<p>Se aleg toamna rosii cat mai tarzii care au mai multe fructe bine dezvoltate si cu inceperea de inrosire. Ele se scot cu radacina cu tot si se atarna intr-o incapere sau afara, intr-un loc ferit de bruma. Se folosesc pe masura ce se coc sau la nevoie.</p>

<p><em>Mod de preparare pentru iarna </em></p>
<p><strong>Pentru pastrarea legumelor radacinoase</strong> se recomanda ca dupa cules acestea sa fie lasate sa se zvante fara sa se scuture complet de pamant, care le protejeaza, mentinandu-le proaspete. Ele se pastreaza in pivnita, in camara sau in balcon, asezate vertical in alzi cu nisip usor jilav. Se asaza distantate putin intre ele, lasandu-se afara numai partea dinspre frunze. Din cand in cand se controleaza si se indeparteaza cele care se strica.</p>
<p><strong>Telina se pastreaza</strong> cel mai bine tot in nisip.</p>
<p><strong>Sfecla poate fi pastrata</strong> si in saci de nailon, desfacuti la gura pentru aerisire.</p>
